  DAY – 1 WORKSHOP REPORT: 3 rd  AUGUST, 2022   The inaugural session has been started by chief guest Prof. P. Subhashini Devi.   Dr. PK Jayalakshmi, Dr Manikya Kumari, Dr Harini, Ms. Rmani Dhanaraj, Dr Padma Sundari, Mr. Ramesh, Dr Praveen, Dr Rosina George and other faculty have been joined the session.   Students from various colleges, (about 8 colleges) have been registered for the event- viz: Andhra Unviersity, Bullaya college, VS krishna College, AVN college, Gayatri vishya Prarishad, St. Anns College. Community Based Internships_20AH Batch

As per the revised CBCS based curriculum which is implemented from the academic year 2020 - 2021, three internships are mandatory for all the students irrespective of the type of college (Govt/ Private Aided Autonomous / constituent / Private Un-aided) and the programme of study (BA/B.Com/B.Sc/BBA/ Honours, etc.). About 30 students of IInd BSc. BBC, have been involved in academic internship program in partial fulfillment of their Bachelor degree in Biotechnology.   1)  GUEST LECTURE-2020-21 The Departments of Biotechnology, Biochemistry and Botany St. Joseph’s College for Women (A), Visakhapatnam have organized a guest lecture on Nanotechnology on 21 st  December 2020.  Dr. N. John Sushma , Asst. Professor in Biotechnology, distinguished speaker from  Sri Padmavati Mahila Viswa Vidyalayam, Tirupati , delivered the lecture on  Nanotechnology based drug delivery systems: Challenges and opportunities . The session was valuable and very informative for the students.   2) GUEST LECTURE-2021 The Departments of Biotechnology, St. Joseph’s College for Women (A), Visakhapatnam has organized a guest lecture on Biostatistics from 11th December 2021 to 13th December 2021.  Mr. P. Sriharikrishna , Asst. Professor in Mathematics, distinguished speaker from  GITAM (Deemed to be University)  delivered the lecture on  Correllation and Regression data analysis . The session was valuable and very informative for the students.
